Husband and wife team, Sean & Michele Andersen, are life coaches who help clients break through stagnation and overcome negative beliefs which hold them back from their desired goals.
Michele and Sean coach clients in many areas such as increasing self confidence, improving family relationships, changing careers, reducing stress as well as improving communication and sexual intimacy between couples. Almost any subject matter is “coachable.” It is up to clients to be accountable, make their own choices, and follow an action plan.
They emphasize that life coaching is NOT therapy. Coaching does not diagnose a client’s past or treat mental dysfunction. Coaching focuses on effecting positive change in the client's current and future behavior. “Although our clients may come to us for one specific area to be coached, we will still observe and challenge the client to have balance in all areas of his/her life.”
As life coaches, Sean and Michele use various conversation techniques, along with client homework, to help the client uncover root issues as well as identify steps needed to achieve positive change. They believe people sometimes get too emotionally absorbed by an issue and are unable to ask objective questions that will help guide them to what action to take. They will also challenge the client’s beliefs that may be limiting his/her possibilities.
Michele’s former career as a project manager makes her an excellent coach in motivating clients to stay committed to their goals. Sean has the ability to “read” clients and assess what they are “saying,” as well as “not saying” to identify root issues. “Together our feedback is compassionate, unbiased, and insightful. We get so much positive energy when the client has that “aha!“ moment and is eager to start breaking down their blockages and are open to new possibilities.”
What makes For All Seasons Life Coaching unique is that Michele and Sean coach the client together, which allows one to observe the client’s body language and gauge if a tactic is having the desired effect. If it isn’t, the other will jump in and redirect with a different approach. Another benefit is that the client receives coaching from both a male and female perspective. This is especially powerful in working with relationship issues. Sean states, “We complement each other’s skill set and find that our clients respond positively to the level of energy they receive from us.”
Their marriage motto, which they believe has kept them together for 22 years, is “if you aren't growing together, you are growing apart.”
